First step is to create a consultant account by signing up- it's your first step towards joining a community committed to admissions success.
Submit Essential Documents: Help us get to know you better. Upload a photo with your ID, your latest resume/CV, and proof of your current academic or professional position, such as an acceptance letter or degree certificate.
Agree to Our Terms: You'll be asked to sign our consultant agreement online, ensuring a mutual understanding of our collaboration.
Profile and Payment Setup: We'll guide you through creating your profile and creating your Stripe account for seamless payment transactions.
Begin Consulting: Once approved, you can start offering your insights and advice to students worldwide.
Profit Sharing: At AcceptedTogether, we believe in fair compensation for your expertise. Our model ensures you receive the majority share of your consultation fees, with the company retaining a modest percentage. This split is designed to decrease as you accumulate more hours and sell more packages, rewarding your dedication and success.
Fee Adjustment Mechanism: Your fee percentage decreases as you hit specific milestones, both in terms of hours worked and packages sold. This structure is cumulative, encouraging long-term collaboration. Should you reach a new threshold, you need notify us to initiate an audit for fee adjustment since we don't retroactively pay for the difference in percentages unless the audit takes longer than 3 days (in that case, we will compensate for sessions that take place during the audit period). You can request an audit at anytime. The percentage deduction we apply depends on the following categories, determined by whichever threshold you reach first—cumulative hours or cumulative package totals:
Cumulative Hours:
0-20 hours —> 28%
21-50 hours —> 25%
50-200 hours —> 22%
200-400 hours —> 20%
400+ hours —> 17%
Cumulative Package Totals:
$0-$1200 —> 28%
$1200-$3000 —> 25%
$3000-$12,000 —> 22%
$12,000-$24,000 —> 20%
$24,000 —> 17%
Global Operations: While our company HQ is based in Canada, we operate in USD and are growing all over North America.
Package Customization: You have the freedom to create hourly packages that reflect your consulting style, combining live consultations with offline editing and review.
Guidelines for External Consulting: You are allowed to provide freelance consultation services outside of the platform (even for a different company, if they allow it legally). However, you must not advertise or discuss those services with AcceptedTogether clients. You are not allowed to communicate with AcceptedTogether clients outside of the platform (e.g. no emails, phone calls, etc.). You are not allowed to share your email, phone number, or links to your services outside of the platform. This is done to protect the privacy of students, to protect you legally, and to protect the integrity of AcceptedTogether as a consultation service marketplace.
