Hello aspiring doctors!
I'm originally from Calgary and now study at the University of British Columbia (OOP). I am excited to share my journey and help you navigate yours, knowing firsthand the challenges and uncertainties of applying to medical school.
Over 3 cycles of interviewing with medical schools, I have made my share of mistakes. But in learning from those mistakes, I have had the opportunity to experiment with a variety of strategies and techniques. These experiences have given me valuable insight into what can *most likely* influence your chances of success, and how different schools evaluate candidates.
I think there is no such thing as a “perfect” applicant. The key is knowing how to present your experiences and qualities in a way that resonates with each school’s unique priorities. The turning point for me was working with mentors who could help me effectively communicate my strengths, help me feel more confident, and showcase the best side of myself. That is the role I want to play for you.
When you work with me, you will get:
1. Access to the interview prep resources I’ve built over the years (including personal stories, social issues, and more)
2. Strategies for crafting strong, authentic responses that stand out
3. Guidance on the types of questions you’ll face and how to tackle them with confidence
4. Constructive, actionable feedback to improve through practice
5. Mentorship on how to feel more confident, along with good mindsets to cultivate during the interview
Your dream is within reach! You just need the right strategy and support to get there. Let’s make it happen together :)
