An incoming medical student for EVMS's MD class of 2028. Academically, I thrived in undergrad with a 3.9 GPA and 521 MCAT. While doing this I worked constantly with 1 year of certified private tutoring experience (Organic Chemistry, Biomechanics) and teaching assistance roles instructing a full supplementary organic chemistry class once a week for my senior year. As well I have 3 years of Emergency Department experience as an ED Tech, 2 year of patient phlebotomy experience, and 1 year of rescue squad experience.
I made it my mission in undergrad to be the best premed possible. I think I accomplished that with a perfect balance of leadership roles, academic success, research, and clinical experience. These successes gained me an early decision acceptance to the only medical school I applied to and my medical school of choice, EVMS. I got so used to giving my friends advise on medical school applications, I figured I could start doing it for others! I consider myself an expert on what it takes to be a top tier applicant and how to be proactive to becoming one at every stage of the premed journey. Course scheduling, gaining clinical experience, shadowing, research, MCAT prep, application prep, and interview prep. I will do it all!
