My name is Nyah and I’m a second-year medical student at the University of Toronto. After two application cycles, I went from receiving 0 interviews to 4—interviewing at UBC, Queen’s (2 rounds), Western, and UofT. As the first in my family to enter medical school, I know how overwhelming the application process can be. But with the help of my mentors in medical school, I was able to navigate it successfully!

1. CASPer Prep: I went from scoring in the 2nd quartile to 4th quartile by changing a few techniques and strategies I used. I can share the approach I used to elevate my performance, helping you optimize your answers within such a limited time and feel confident on test day!

Interview Prep: Having interviewed at 4 different schools across Canada with varying formats—MMI (both synchronous and asynchronous) and panel—I can offer personalized tips and strategies to help you stand out in your interviews. We’ll practice key questions, refine your responses and I’ll provide detailed feedback to help you improve over time.
3. Essay Editing: Your essays are one of the most important ways to set yourself apart in a sea of applicants. From brainstorming to final edits, I can provide insight to help you craft compelling, authentic stories that highlight your strengths and passions!
