Hi! My name is Nichole and I am a first year medical student at the University of Toronto. I complete my undergrad at Wilfrid Laurier University where I majored in health sciences. 

When I first applied to medical school in my third year of university, I felt overwhelmed and confused, there is a lot of (mis)information online and not much guidance. That year I did not receive any interviews. The following year I applied to both American and Canadian schools, and got interviews at 4 that ran between August to April. I was accepted to UofT and NYMC, and waitlisted at Ottawa and Wayne State. I spent an extensive amount of time preparing and learning how to excel at MMIs, vMPIs, and traditional interviews. I also improved my casper score from 3rd quartile to 4th quartile between those cycles. This has allowed me to accumulate a wide variety of tips and knowledge and learn from various different mentors, and I want to share any useful wisdom I can with you if given the opportunity.
