Hi everyone! My name is Nia, and I’m a second-year dental student at Western University. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences with Distinction at McMaster University and went on to earn my Master of Management of Applied Science (MMASc) at Western University.

Hi everyone! My name is Nia, and I’m a second-year dental student at Western University. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences with Distinction at McMaster University and went on to earn my Master of Management of Applied Science (MMASc) at Western University.
Throughout my journey to dental school, I gained valuable insights into the Canadian and U.S. application processes. I received interviews at Western University for two consecutive years and was accepted into the DDS Class of 2028. I was also fortunate to receive offers from several U.S. dental schools, including NYU, Roseman University, and the University of Minnesota.
During my time as a pre-dental student, I navigated the Canadian and American application systems, wrote the DAT, completed CASPer, and balanced graduate studies—all while figuring out how to best represent myself on paper and in interviews. I know how overwhelming this process can feel, but with the right guidance and preparation, you can showcase the strongest version of yourself.
Whether you're curious about applying to Canadian schools, exploring U.S. options, writing the DAT or CASPer, or even wondering if a master’s program is the right fit for you, I'm happy to help guide you through it all!
Feel free to reach out with any questions. I’m excited to support you on your journey to dentistry!
