Hi! My name is Madeline, and I just finished my final year at the Ontario Veterinary College. I am a new grad veterinarian, currently working locally in small animal general practice. I was admitted on my first application to OVC after completing my undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology and Psychology at the University of Guelph. Since I was very young, my dream was to become a veterinarian, mainly due in part to spending time with my father, who is a small animal veterinarian. Outside of school, I play ice hockey, love to read, and enjoy spending time outdoors with family and friends!

The veterinary school application cycle can be time-consuming and daunting, but the guidance I received from family, friends, and mentors was instrumental in refining my application and helping me to navigate the process. Their support is something I am forever grateful for, and I hope to play a similar role in assisting prospective applicants! I truly believe that I have some great tips and tricks for both the CASPer exam and virtual interview that allowed me to become a successful candidate that I am excited to share with you!
