I applied to Alberta medical schools and Interviewed at the UofC in 2022 and the UofA in 2021 and 2022, it was a daunting experience but practice and dedication are extremely helpful for overcoming the process! I've done extensive MMI tutoring and volunteer MMI work for my three years of medical school, helping over 35 students with their MMI practice and I'd love to try and help you too!
I am able to provide general and specific feedback on question-answering strategies, dealing with nerves and how to incorporate non-verbal communication and style of speech.

I am beyond grateful for all of Kira's help prepping for the University of Alberta MMI & panel interview. Together we had 4 lessons and come interview time I felt prepared and excited for the interview process. During our sessions, we did several practice prompts and Kira's feedback was excellent. It was comprehensive, thoughtfully explained, insightful, and easy to apply. Interview day prompts were very similar in nature to the prompts we practiced which helped me feel confident in my responses. I strongly believe Kira helped me develop my communication and critical thinking skills which allowed me to provide mature, insightful, and reflective responses. I always looked forward to our lessons together as I learnt important skills, and information to apply to various prompt types and difficult topics. I left our meetings feeling inspired, hopeful, and excited to apply the advice to my daily interview practice. It was helpful that Kira was a medical student as she often informed me of the content she was taught in school and I was able to apply her examples to support my arguments (e.g. she provided insightful things to consider when answering sensitive topics, and she gave me lots of book recommendations that I read). Kira was also always open to answering my questions and responsive to scheduling times together. I am incredibly grateful to say that this was my first time interviewing for medical school (after getting rejected a few times pre-interview) and I received an offer from UofA- thanks to all of Kira's incredible mentorship! Truly can't thank Kira enough!

Kira is amazing! Her feedback has helped me get into Canadian medical schools. When I first started interview prep, I was lost. My response lacked content. With Kira's guidance and help, I was able to improve my answer. It made my answer to be insightful. What I truly appreciated about Kira was her kind and honest constructive feedback.
