When I do the application review, I do the editing on my own time and estimate the hours it takes me to do so (this way I am more efficient). I still schedule a session, and usually, the student does not attend, I just do so as the hours will be deducted. I always meet with the student live to go over the edits so the student is updated and understands everything to allow for a strong application, and of course, meet in the beginning for a consultation to learn more about you!

Collaboratively led two full study projects on neuromuscular characteristics surrounding the muscle-tendon unit, which lead to 3 publications (2 first author).

Noma Action Group (NAG)
I am the grade representative for my dental class for NAG, which is a faculty-led club that works on spreading awareness of Noma (a totally preventable disease) that was classified last year as a neglected tropical disease by the World Health Organziation. Our group works on spreading awareness, increasing education in dental schools across Canada, and teaching other professions about Noma.

Orientation Week Coordinator
I was one of the leaders for the University of Toronto Orientation week. This role included a strenuous planning process throughout May-August 2024, where each event was organized. This included, booking spaces, contacting the first year students and mentoring them as they prepared to start dental school, plan events that helped bring the students together and teach them some dental knowledge before starting school, and financing and budgeting for 120 people.
