Hi, future doctor! I’m Jessica, and I’m excited to support you with personalized advice and interview prep on your journey to medical school, backed by 14 successful interview invites this cycle. Over the past three years, I’ve helped secondary students gain admission to competitive undergraduate programs, especially in health sciences, and mentored postsecondary students as an upper-year academic and extracurricular advisor. I've also worked in undergraduate admissions, so I understand what it takes to stand out. Now, I’m here to help you navigate the medical school application process with personalized interview preparation based on the strategies that helped me gain admission to three medical schools in my first cycle, across both panel and MMI formats.
A little bit about me and what I do: I completed my Bachelor of Health Sciences (3-year) at Queen’s University and am originally from Nova Scotia. During the 2024–2025 application cycle, I interviewed at UofT, Queen’s, and UBC (OOP)- and was fortunate to receive acceptances from all three. I know how stressful this process can feel, and I’m here to help you approach it with strategy, calm, and clarity.
You’ve already earned your place at the interview, and that alone reflects the strength of your experiences. You’ve demonstrated the qualities admissions committees look for in future physicians. My goal is to help you present those moments in a way that feels genuine, compelling, and organized so that your strengths come through clearly. Jessica is super awesome, and definitely went above and beyond to help me brainstorm. She gave great insights and pointed out details I didn't even notice. Her advice is actionable, and gave me clear direction for my essays when I was confused. Overall super sweet and 10/10 recommend!

Jessica is an excellent consultant and extremely detailed and thorough in her feedback. I felt uncomfortable and unsure about my UBC NAQ descriptions, and she helped me improve my phrasing to highlight aspects more relevant to the activity categories. She was lovely during our live session, and it's clear she's genuine and caring. Her insight was invaluable, and I highly recommend her as a consultant.

Her edits and feedback on my essays were very detailed and helped me navigate some tricky topic questions. It is very clear how much Jessica enjoys helping others out. She is very detailed in her feedback and goes into depth so that you can better understand where you can improve your essays or push them further. During our live session, she took her time to go over each essay to ensure I understood the feedback and she happily answered any questions I had regarding the feedback or my essays in general. I felt lost with my ABS Statement essay initially, but through her guidance on the feedback document and during our live session, she helped guide me towards a new direction/angle I can try with my statement. I am currently working on my ABS Statement and I am much more excited about this new angle! Overall, Jessica is very knowledgeable when it comes to writing; she is kind, patient, and accommodating. If you are struggling with your UofT BPE and ABS Statement essays, then I highly recommend Jessica as your mentor! :)
