As someone who wasn’t accepted in my first application cycle, I understand how stressful and uncertain this process can feel. In my second cycle, I turned things around and earned interviews at three Ontario medical schools. This experience taught me what to do, what to avoid, and how to present myself authentically.

Along the way, I’ve also built years of experience tutoring math and sciences (from grade school through university), which has helped me develop strong teaching and mentorship skills. Now, as a medical student, I’m passionate about using those skills to guide future applicants.
