The medical school application cycle can feel long and daunting, but the guidance I received from family, friends, and mentors was key in refining my app and helping me navigate the process; their support is something I am forever grateful for, and I hope to play a similar role in assisting prospective applicants.

I was also accepted into 4 Physiotherapy and various Master's programs in Ontario and would be happy to share my experiences applying to these programs!

One important tip for the application process: HOW you write (or talk) about your experiences is just as important as what your experiences are. The essays/interviews are a way for admissions teams to learn about you, but also to evaluate your communication skills. Establish a clear and succinct style in your responses with a focus on what you accomplished and the lessons you learned in relation to CanMEDs. Also, do not be afraid to show off your interests and hobbies - it is what makes you unique!
