I was accepted to the OVC early after completing 3 years of a Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology at the University of Guelph. Developed and maintained interpersonal relationships with 1300 clients and 2000 patients in a complex mobile clinic business. Completed S.O.A.P. records, financial consulting and inventory counting through Digitail. Assisted with restraining aggressive canines and felines and preparing for diagnosis, treatment, minor surgeries, biopsy, and veni- puncture procedures as well as humane euthanasia.

Research Assistant
Shadowed emergency and critical care in the OVC ICU alongside veterinarians and D.V.Sc. students while aiding in multiple research projects. Successfully conducted time-sensitive venipuncture from 150 critically ill canine patients presented with pneumonia, hemoabdomen, or sepsis. Processed samples and analyzed data and patient prognosis via EzyVet, Smartflow and Spreadsheet. Completed ultrasound image tracing and linear measurements of over 100 male cat bladders using OsiriXLite imaging software. Analyzed ultrasound measurement data via Python and Spreadsheet to estimate the fluid volume in the bladder without the use of invasive procedures. Met virtually and in person with D.V.Sc. students and faculty to discuss improvements to ultrasound images and tracing accuracy.
