Medical school admissions consultant | PrepMD Advising

During my time at Yale School of Medicine, I founded PrepMD Advising to help guide pre-medical students through the medical school admissions process and position them for acceptance at their top-choice programs. Through strategic application planning, in-depth personal statement and secondary essay development, and rigorous interview preparation, I have helped numerous students gain admission to the medical schools they dreamed of attending. I bring to this work the perspective of a mentor, a former member of the Yale School of Medicine admissions team, and an applicant who earned 19 MD interview invitations and 10 acceptances—half from top-20 medical schools. I am deeply committed to applying this experience to your journey and helping you take the first confident steps toward becoming a physician.

As a medical student at Yale School of Medicine, I served for one year as a voting member of the admissions committee. In this role, I interviewed more than 20 applicants and participated directly in admissions decision-making. Through this experience, I developed a nuanced understanding of what distinguishes truly standout medical school interviews—as well as the common missteps that can undermine otherwise strong candidates. I am excited to apply this insight to help current and future applicants approach their interviews with confidence and perform at their best.

Alumni admissions interviewer | Washington University in St. Louis

I served as an alumni interviewer for undergraduate admissions at Washington University in St. Louis for three admissions cycles, until the alumni interview program was discontinued. In this role, I interviewed more than a dozen applicants and developed a strong understanding of what distinguishes successful undergraduate interviews. I have since applied this experience to coach students applying to both college and medical school, helping them present themselves effectively and gain admission to highly selective programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
