Hello! I recently finished my first year as a dental student at the University of Toronto. My journey to dental school wasn’t an easy one — it took me three application cycles to finally receive an acceptance. Along the way, I invested a lot of time and effort into refining every aspect of my application to give myself the best possible chance of achieving my dream.

As a Canadian applicant, I initially applied only to the main dental schools in Ontario. After being waitlisted or rejected during my first two cycles, I knew I had to make significant changes. In my third cycle, I rewrote my entire personal statement, improved my interview skills, and expanded my applications to include U.S. dental schools. That decision paid off as I received over 10 interview offers and was fortunate enough to be accepted into my top-choice school, where I’m now thriving and truly enjoying the experience.
I understand how competitive and overwhelming the dental school application process can be, and I’m passionate about helping others navigate it. I’d love to share what worked for me and help you strengthen your application. Whether you need support with essay and resume editing or interview preparation, I’m here to help. For application reviews, I typically work on edits independently and then schedule a one-on-one meeting to go over them, but I’m happy to adjust to whatever works best for you. For interview prep, I run mock interviews followed by detailed feedback — a strategy that made a huge difference for me.
If you have any questions or would like guidance, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m excited to give back to the community and support future dental students as they work towards their goals!
